Six Defined Steps · Clear Timelines · Written Every Time

How Pest Control Works — From Your First Call to Follow-Up

When you call us, you’re not booking a generic spray. The six stages stay consistent, but what happens within each stage depends on the pest, property, and treatment required. This is genuinely how pest control works at The Savers, whether you’re calling about droppings near your kitchen counter, a mud tube on a boundary wall, or scratching in your roof space at night. Here’s exactly what happens to your property, including what we do differently at each stage and what happens if any step gets skipped.

Your Process Timeline

Your Pest Control Timeline

Day 0

Phone triage, usually same-day inspection within Lahore.

Day 0–1

Written quote delivered, within a few hours of inspection.

Day 1–2

Treatment carried out, once quote approved and prep done.

Follow-Up

Follow-up scheduled according to the treatment and service provided.

If you’re outside Lahore, the same sequence applies with a 24–48 hour window instead of same-day for your first two steps. Waterlogged access roads during monsoon weeks can shift this further, something we account for when scheduling your visit, not something you find out about when your technician is already late.

The Six Steps — How Pest Control Works at Your Property

1

Phone Triage — We Ask Before We Assume

When you call, we ask what you are seeing, where it is, how long it’s been going on, and whether kids or pets are in your home. That information helps us determine the appropriate safe re-entry instructions later. What you describe already tells us something specific before we even arrive:

  • Droppings near your kitchen counter at night — points toward cockroaches
  • A mud tube on your wall — points toward termites
  • Scratching in your roof space after dark — usually means rodents
  • Standing water near your entrance — a mosquito-breeding concern

If you’re calling about mosquitoes, timing may be prioritized during and after monsoon months because breeding sites can return quickly when standing water comes back. If your property is in a gated community, we confirm access details during your first call so your inspection and treatment aren’t delayed at the gate.

2

Free On-Site Inspection — Your Property, Not a Generic Checklist

A technician inspects your property in person, usually same-day if you’re within Lahore and within 24–48 hours if you’re elsewhere in Punjab. What gets checked depends on what you called about:

  • Termites — door frames, skirting boards, expansion joints (brick-and-RCC pathways differ from wood-frame buildings)
  • Cockroaches — behind appliances and inside drains
  • Rodents — gaps around pipes, vents, and roof spaces

If more than one pest is active on your property at once, your inspection covers the whole property, you don’t need two separate visits; you need one inspection that accounts for both, so the technician can coordinate the appropriate treatments within the same visit where practical. Photos are taken as part of your record at every stop, not written up from memory afterward.

If you find more than one issue on my property, how do you decide what gets treated first?
Whatever most established gets addressed first within the same visit, not queued for a separate appointment. Your technician tells you that distinction on the spot, not after treatment is already underway.

3

A Written Quote, Same Day — Know What’s Included Before Treatment

Within a few hours of your inspection, you get a written quotation: your photo report, your price, and exactly what’s included, whether that’s a single bed bug treatment for one room in your home or a full commercial fumigation job for your warehouse. A verbal “around this much” leaves room for the number to move once work has already started at your property; by then, most people just pay it. Your written quote, sent before anything begins, doesn’t leave that room.

4

What You Need to Prepare, Told in Advance

Before your treatment day, we tell you what to clear at your property:

  • General pest or cockroach job — food and water sources covered or stored in airtight containers
  • Bed bug treatment — bedding and furniture access cleared
  • Commercial property — specific area clearance arranged in advance

This means your treatment starts immediately when your technician arrives, instead of being delayed by prep you didn’t know you needed to do.

5

Treatment and Clean-Up, in the Same Visit

The method depends entirely on what’s active on your property:

  • An active termite infestation — treatment matched to the infestation and property
  • New construction — treatment planned around the property’s construction stage
  • A mosquito problem — treatment planned around the source of activity
  • A rodent problem — treatment focused on the activity and access points

If your treatment involves drilling, we clear the dust ourselves before leaving. The filling around drilled points can look a little rough as it sets, so we’ll ask you to do a final wipe-down the next day once it’s fully dry, we tell you this upfront, not as an afterthought once you notice it yourself. Your technician gives you the required safe re-entry instructions for your specific treatment before leaving. In most cases, this is around 5 to 6 hours, but the exact time can vary depending on the treatment.

6

Follow-Up — Confirming the Treatment Held

We follow up according to the treatment and service provided, confirming whether activity has reduced and whether any further attention is needed. The timing and warranty period can vary by pest and treatment, so you’re told what applies to your specific job rather than being given one standard timeline for every infestation.

If Your Inspection Finds Nothing Active

Sometimes what prompted your call, a sound, a single sighting, doesn’t turn out to be an active infestation once your technician actually looks. That’s a genuinely fine outcome, not a wasted visit. You still get a written summary of what was checked and what wasn’t found.

If You Don’t Approve Your Quote

There’s no pressure and no follow-up sales call. Your inspection and written quote are yours to keep and think over. If you decide to proceed later, your original inspection findings are still on file, you won’t need to start over from a phone call.

For Remote Owners

For Owners Who Aren’t There in Person

A genuinely large share of the properties we treat, rentals, second homes, and properties owned by family living abroad, are managed by someone who isn’t physically in Lahore. This isn’t a workaround, it’s built into how your process runs by default. Your access is coordinated however works for you: a caretaker on-site, a key left with a neighbor, or your gate-security cleared in advance for a scheduled arrival. Your phone triage and quote-approval happen the same way regardless of where you are, and your video proof lands the same day whether you’re in Johar Town or overseas.

Photos From Every Visit — Not Just a Promise

If you live abroad, outside Lahore, or simply couldn’t be on-site during treatment, you shouldn’t have to take our word for what was done at your property. After every job, we send you photos of the work, the entry points checked, the treatment applied, documented as it happens. It’s not a formal report you have to request; it lands in your WhatsApp the same day.

  • Inspection photos — every area checked, not just where you flagged
  • Treatment in progress — the actual application, not a stock description
  • Sent same day — directly to your WhatsApp, no request needed

The Reasoning

Why Each Step Exists — What Happens When One Gets Skipped

  • Skip your phone triage

Your technician can show up prepared for the wrong pest entirely.

  • Skip your documented inspection

Your treatment gets aimed at what’s visible, not the source.

  • Skip your written quote

Without a written quote, pricing can be less clear once work is ready to begin.

  • Skip your prep instructions

Your treatment day gets delayed, or rushed to work around clutter.

  • Skip your clean-up

You’re left doing extra cleanup on top of the pest problem you called about.

  • Skip your follow-up

Nobody confirms your treatment actually held, you only find out when your problem is already back.

Your six steps stay the same, call, inspection, quote, prep, treatment, follow-up, but what happens inside steps 2 and 5 is matched to your specific pest.

You’ll need to be reachable for your phone triage and to approve your written quote. For inspection and treatment, many clients coordinate access remotely, with video proof sent either way.

It changes your scheduling, not the six steps themselves. We confirm your block and phase details during your first call and give your gate security advance notice.

Whatever’s most established gets priority within your same visit. Your technician explains that reasoning on the spot.

No obligation either way. You keep your written summary or quote regardless, and there’s no pressure or follow-up sales call.
